So I used a cast iron pan for the first time, and fried some fish with turmeric and salt. It cooked much better and much easier than the non-stick. There’s quite a bit of oil left - can I leave it in the pan to cook with tomorrow? Will this damage the pan somehow? (I don’t care if this gives the pan a heavy turmeric seasoning since I put turmeric in places it has no business being in. Also I fried fish in this pan.) Given that the care and use instructions say to oil the pan after rinsing, I feel that it shouldn’t matter, but I don’t want to damage a brand new pan...which I bought in March and never used until now.
